Crappie Spawn Near: TVA Begins Reservoir Filling April 1st

Rising lake levels are coinciding with rising surface temperatures. For Kentucky Lake’s early spring fishing scene it’s a Mecca for anglers yearning to hit the peak of spawning phases. Crappie Bite Great Despite Water Color

Starting spring off with warm temperatures and fairly stable water levels has got several fisherman out on the water. Most have been greeted with a better than expected bite for our conditions.
